Our Mission
The Green Valley Genealogical Society, located in Southern Arizona, began in late 1976. Our Society’s mission is to encourage and further genealogical research through educational programs, to exchange genealogical data among the members, and to cooperate with regional, national, and individual societies with a like purpose. We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization.
The Society’s operating/membership year is from October 1 to September 30 to conform to the period of “membership meetings” from October through May. There are no membership meetings from June through September.
